When the TRUE IMAGE is on top

I have been seeing a Neurologist for other problems and one was double vision. I am awaiting blood tests and the last MRI to come back.  I am confused as to the eye problems. I have had two bouts of vertical double vision (crystal clear) for less than 2 minutes.
Now I consistently have vertical double vision with contrasting objects. Night time or day as long as the objects are light and dark.
The Brain MRI came back with slight inflammation of the LEFT optic nerve. He did a VEP which came back with problems with the RIGHT eye. I also have right side neck pain nothing noted on that MRI. LEFT ear pain that is not a ear infection.
SO with all this I'm wondering what the thoughts are. I have read with vertical vision the False image is on bottom but mine isn't. Also why the pain if its astigmatism? I have had astigmatisms in both eyes my whole life with no double vision before now.
I also have the TRUE IMAGE on the bottom and the false on top always.
Just as a patient background I'm also having left sided numbness on skin. Pinkies of both hand and foot. Walking problems, bathroom issues, falls, depth perception problems as well. I have run into door ways with half of my body outside the door multiple times. The numbness and vision started within 3 months. Have gradually gotten worse.

I would recommend seeing a neuro-ophthalmologist for further evaluation of the double vision.  The false image in vertical double vision does not always have to be on the bottom; it depends which eye is out of alignment, and whether the eye is higher or lower than the other.  The constellation of symptoms may be MS or myasthenia.  Don't panic; these can be treated.  The neuro-ophthalmologist can work closely with your neurologist for best results.

Sorry I'm also female, 30, and low blood pressure, low cholesterol. I was given glucose test  a year ago and was fine at that time due to pregnancy. CBC within a year all normal.
