Is this a dilation problem?

Hi there.  My nero asked me if I had dilation problems.  I said, No.  But, maybe I am and don't realize it.   Basically, if I cover my left eye, my right field of vision goes dark as I try to focus.  It's not well defined boarders of darkness.  If I try to focus it worsens.  I had a full eye exam with no remarks.  I had an EEG of my optic nerve and when I was taking the test the red dot was black. Any comments or direction?  Thanks Kimpton

Hi.  Thank you for your response.   My follow up to my brain MRI is a month 1/2 out.  Is there any sense of urgency here?  I can go a different route for a referral.  I think it would be faster to go through my GP than the neuro.  Thanks.  Kimpton.

Dear kimpton,

I would recommend that you seek the care of a neuro-ophthalmologist including visual field testing.
