White bump in my eye

Hello.
I have a white bump on my sclera. It still hasn't gone away its been 6 days.My eyes were red for a little over a week and I noticed a white bump on my right eye. It is on the right side of my eye rather than closer to my nose. I thought it was from studying and lack of sleep. I am very scared. I am only 25 and I have never had anything like this. Please help. I don't think it's a pinguecula.

I saw a few optometrist and finally an opthamologist. He prescribed Zylet, steroid drops. He told me to use it for a week and see him again in a week. The redness went away and the bump went down just a little. When I went to see him he got a swab and went over the bumb attempting to flatten it out. My eye went red again. He told me to use vigamox for a day then return to the Zylet for another week. It's been a few weeks now and I can still see the bump since it hasn't gone away. The doctor says I should go see a USC doctor. I don't have insurance and a consultation costs 500-1500. I already spent a couple hundred on doctors and drops. Will this go away with time or is it something serious I should seek more medical attention.

It may be a pingueculum, but the only way to be sure is to have it checked out by an ophthalmologist.  If it is a pingueculum, this is not a dangerous condition and does not require surgery.
