Iol lens wrong power

I had cataract surgery 2 mos ago in my right eye.  The cataract was bad because I had to postpone surgery to get some major dental work done.  Iol was supposed to be set for distance and would up set for near.  I am very upset and frustrated.  Doctor recommends setting other eye at distance but not full mono Visio now. The close eye is my dominant eye.  My concerns about migraines , depth perception and night driving are shrugged off as the glasses will fix this.  One eye is currently +2other is -2. I am concerned about eye strain.  Also intermediate vision. When I asked about intermediate vision I was told it should be great as is.  I am nit quick on my feet I these situations and do dint mention I had tried to see computer with that eye.  Dr thinks I didn’t try because I don’t respond quickly.  I tried that day at home .  If I get the screen about 16 inches from my face it works.  Fonts are set large on most programs.  But a work I have multiple screens.  I just don’t know what to dip. And am losing faith in the drive.  Near the end of the meeting he said something about a oddible lascivious like procedure to touch it up.
