Dear lissette676,
Depending on the type of surgery and the type of gas bubble, the resolution times will vary. For example, if she had cataract surgery and the gas was air, it should be gone within a day or two. If was retinal surgery, it could take a few weeks again depending on the type of gas inserted.

It depends on so many factors that I can't give you an accurate answer. Let's just say it will take several months probably but it depends on whether the surgery was successful and if other problems are present and a cataract will usually develop after the surgery and may need to be removed. In the end you need to make sure you have an in depth understanding exactly what the problems are, what was done and what the expected prognosis is. The surgeon will be the best source of information.
