best vitreoretinal specialists in the SF Bay Area?

Who is the best vitreoretinal specialist in the SF Bay Area?  I am currently seeing a physician at the Stanford Eye Institute but am thinking of changing physicians since I am now losing some vision due to my dry AMD.
thanks!  Any info would be appreciated.

Correction to my earlier post.  Dr. deJuan is at UCSF.  You may also want to do some research on fenretinide.  Very recent limited trials are showing strong effectiveness against dry AMD with minimal side effects.  You may want to see if you can participate in a Phase III clinical trial next year.

The 'best' doctor is so subjective.  I have no personal experience with either of these doctors, but you might want to consult either Dr. Mark Blumenkranz, also at Stanford, or Dr. Eugene deJuan at UCSB, both highly recognized vitreoretinal doctors in the area.  If you are consulting other eye physicians in other sub-specialities that are highly regarded, you can also ask them.  Best of luck to you!
