blisters on my eyeball

I noticed a small patch of tiny bumps on my eyeball in the inner corner of my eye.  They look like blisters.  They are clear and look like they are filled with geI.  They seem to float around a small area when I push against my eyelid.  I have not injured my eye and it does not hurt or seem to bother my vision.  I am 53 years old and am a Type 2 diabetic.  What would cause these bumps?  Do I need to see a doctor?

Your description most closely resembles inclusion cysts of the conjuctiva. HOWEVER you being a diabetic should be under the care of an Eye MD ophthalmologist that you see yearly. Ask him/her next time in. If you do NOT have an Eye MD get one quick. Find one at www.aao.org
