I have tried several times to post and when I hit send...it will not send. I hope it works. Cataract surgery April 2008.
Was sent a Dear John letter from eye doctor...First time he had the wrong address and I was unaware that he was ridding me. Very nearsighted pre-op. Left eye done with right eye to follow, 2 weeks later.
Told surgeon I still wanted to use my glasses but wanted to see clear to sew, clean the house, drive at night and read street signs and read to grandchildren. I had great faith in this doctor. I am worse off. Blurry vision, eye watering, large PVD's. etc. etc. He would not acknowledge these problems. He said this is what I asked for and I am expercting too much to be able to drive the car at night and sew and read street signs. I have an Alcon ACRY SOF lens in the left eye. Model # SN60AT. I have had on and off inflammation and have been on many type of antibitotics. I am very upset and am on Xanax now to cope with these post op problems, alone. I was abandoned.
Doctor can this lens be removed safely at this late date in view of now post op PVD's? He will not remove it. I cannot in my heart have the other one taken out as I am scard.
Have you seen cases like this. One doctor said the measurements can be off on the lens. Can this operative eye be re-measured?
Help and thank You.
