My right eye had been lasered 5years back to prevent possible holes and or detachment.
six months back i experienced flashes in the RE.The local eye surgeon applied cold nitrogen needle to repair a hole.A number of eye surgeon also told me that there was no retinae detachment in my RE.But still I see flashes though intensity is a bit less. Why so ? What are the risks ? What should I do ? I don't have sugar BP more or less 140/85.

Redetachment after scleral buckle is less likely than with other types of repair.  When the time comes that your vision bothers you enough that YOU want to have it done make sure you are in an experienced cataract surgeons hands.  Do keep in mind that the doctors can only see in through a cataract as well as you see out of it.

Having a past detachment increases your risk greatly of having another one in either eye. Intraocular surgery like cataract surgery also increases your risk in that eye. Have a "heart to heart" with your surgeon about the risks. If you need the cataract op to see, do it. I have done many such cases and have rarely had a problem. Also, have the retina checked. If there are any suspicious areas which may result in a hole, you might have them lasered in advance of the surgery. Watch the retina closely after surgery.
