constantly weeping eye

hello everyone,

my problem is very simple: my left eye just wont stop weeping. it doesnt hurt or something, it just weeps (it also reddened a bit). i find it extremely annoying, since it blurs my vision.
i think i got the flu a few weeks ago, maybe its connected.
any ideas for causes or cure would be appreciated.

an update: it is not reddened, i checked. i thought it was, but its not.
