crystalens or Acrysoft ReSTOR

I'm going to have a cataract surgery in two weeks.
Which multifocal lense is the best Crystalens or ReSTOR?

there are a lot of discussions here about Crystalens and ReStor, just type in the names in the search bar and read the messages.

You should discuss the pros and cons of each with your surgeon and find out which lens has  higher patient satisfaction in his practice.  ReStor has been associated with more complications such as halos, waxy vision, poor night vision, and glare.

The main complaints with Crystalens from patients on this board have involved needing reading glasses for close vision, but this is supposed to be improved with the new Crystalens HD.

The doctors on this board and others have been recommending monofocal lenses on the grounds that they are associated with less side effects, but I based my decision to go with Crystalens on the notion that the complaints here have been rather few compared with the number of procedures being done every day. I've been happy with it and I have had no side effects or problems.

I had the Restor lens placed in June.  I've had nothing but trouble with them.  My vision was very bad for 2 1/2 mo. and I still have ghosting and no crisp vision.  I'm just glad I can see.  Well anyway  the Restor aren't what they are advertised as.  I have horrible close up vision.  I have to use 2.5 readers and also I have Rx glasses that help with this.

Beaware and do more homework than I did. Also have very dry eye's as a result of the surgeries.
