cysts

I have a bump underneath and in the corner of each eyelid that is not visible from the outside. They are both skin color and the one in my right eye has never bothered me. I have worn contacts since before I was 10. I am 20 now and have worn glasses for a little over a year straight. 2 years ago in the summer i was in Canada and wore my contacts day and night for at least a few weeks at a time. When i got back I noticed my left eye was constantly dry and sometimes my contact would bother me when i blinked. I spoke to my eye doctor and he said the bumps were probably enlarged, if not a product of irritation and/or allergens getting into my eye. He said no health risks are involved (at this time) and prescribed me some drops. I have not tried to wear contacts in a long time and my eyes do not bother me at all. Honestly, i was not very consistent with using the drops, but even before the doc prescribed me the drops he advised me that the bumps may never go away. Just wanting to get a second opinion. If I try wearing contacts could it make the bumps bigger even if i take them out every night? are there any other options to shrinking the bumps? Should I try another round of the drops and use them correctly and then if no results worry about it then?

Re-read what I said. The lesion has to be examined.

From the information you  gave me I cannot give you a second opinion. Its one of those things you have to look at. I suggest seeing a Eye MD ophthalmologist. Find one at www.aao.org
