does presbyopia stop with cataract surgery

I know that you need readers because of presbyopia when you are normally nearsighted. I am wondering if the presbyopia continues after having cataract surgery? If I opt for a lens to see up close, will it get worse because of presbyopia as it would with my natural lens?

No presbyopia stops because it occurs because of age induced clouding and thickening of the natural lens.
