eye or lower lid problem

I wonder if anybody had similar problem. It started 2 months ago with what you think would be an allergic reaction on my lower eye lid looking as red raised patch of skin which burned like crazy and itched. I tried different remedies to no avail. The over the counter hydrocortisone cream 0.05 % was a little helpful though I did not use it a lot. Then this red patch under my left eye got better but it moved closer to the eye and now I have a swollen lower eye lid which is not burning or itching a lot but it feels  a little painful and uncomfortable like it was damaged or something. I have been to ophtalmologist but she found nothing prescribing me allergy drops (do not help, even worse) and Alrex steroid eye drops(not sure if it helps). Two possible culptrits which are probably have nothing to do with it: I had upper/lower blepharoplasty 5 years ago and I also contact lens wearer.I forgot to mention that skin under my left eye is reddish like inflamed. The other eye is almost not effected, just a little bit of swelling. What could it possible be?

Dear natasha11,

I would recommend that you seek the care of an eyeMD to determine an appropriate diagnosis and treatment.
