eye tearing

Im 25yrs old and for a little over a year my left eye has been tearing throughout the day.  Less sleep, or if im sick, or direct sunlight, or wind, or if I wear glasses all day it worsens. A couple months ago i went to see a eye doctor and he checked my tear duct (or gland) to see if it was clogged by probbing it and pouring slat water down the duct. It isnt clogged but he told me that my tear duct was to easy to prob open and it doesnt tighten up very well.  He recommended that I use lubbercant 6 times daily. But where I buy my contacts an employee noticed that my contact (acuve) wasnt moving when I blinked as much as it should. So she changed my contacts to proclear. Since then I'm not tearing as much in volume but I'm still tearing daily. How do I fix this completely.

Dear SummersM,

You might require continued treatment to determine whether the treatment has helped, both the lubricant and the contact lens.
