Antik glare glasses usually are not helpful. Start by having a medical eye exam by an Eye MD ophthalmologist. If that's normal try varying your font size, screen brightness to find the best readings. Look up from the computer every 15 minutes blink hard 4-5 times and refocus out the window or something as far away as possible. Use artifical tears before a long session.

Hello
I was reading up on some of your answers and I had a similar question about my eyes. My eyes are normally dry and light sensitive. But on days when I go to class for 8 hours, with the use of a laptop, I find my eye problems magnified. Very bad dry eye and light sensitivity. The room I am in for class has bright flourescent lighting. My vision is perfect, as I have had eye examinations recently. However, I have been considering some anti-glare glasses. Do they work, or is there something else you think I should do? Interested to hear your thoughts.
Healthy eyes don't need computer glasses. Item 1 and 2 mentioned above can occur in young people

so, if you are like 18 years old, you can't get computer glasses?
computer glasses generally 1. correct small amounts of refractive error 2. may have prisms in them to help with convergence effort 3. for middle age and older people they are multifocal glasses where the top for distance is removed and the computer glasses has only a intermediate and near RX. The advantage is that a person does not have to lift his chin to see the computer screen.

are there any special computer glasses? what is that for then?
The computer does not damage the eye, ever. It may tire the eye but its no different than a long walk tiring the legs
