Recently I have noticed a blue like ring of film around my eyes. I am 63 and wear glasses. Would this have anything to do with just age or could it be more of a health problem??

I guess I shouldn't leave  you hanging like that.  Arcus is harmless - it that's what you have - but sometimes can be seen with higher serum lipids but usually it's just a family trait.  It usually  looks like a whitish haze around the peripheral cornea.

Look up arcus senilis - this is the most likely possibility.  Rarely a copper storage disease - Wilson's disease can cause copper deposition in the peripheral cornea but usually only visible with microscope and it's rare and I doubt you would be able to notice it.
