Is something wrong?

I was resting this afternoon and all of a sudden noticed that I see red tones in my left eye while the other is cooler or "normal"...  it really freaked me out!  I am pregnant and wondered if that had anything to do with it, and/or that's the side I always have migraines on....

I've NEVER noticed this before..

I should add that many people have subtle differences in color perception between the eyes (myself included) which is a permanent and normal state of affairs for them.  For whatever reason, they suddenly notice it for the first time when they happen to be looking at something from a particular direction or under a particular light.

Was this a temporary event, or does it seem constant?  If it seems constant, can you think of why you never noticed it before?   Unilateral color vision change, if truly of abrupt onset, could indicate problems with the optic nerve or the retina.  If your color perception returns to normal then likely this was a migraine variant. Your migraines may change in response to your pregnancy. If it seems constant and if you are convinced that it is a new event you should see an Eye MD.  Locate one near you at aao.org.

I think it was temporary... whether due to the way I was laying or a slight migrane as you were suggesting... but it does seem to be better now...

It was GLARINGLY different... that's why I was so shocked....  hopefully it is resolved and won't be a troublesome thing in the future!
