if seeing a few more increased floaters

I had a very small retinal tear about a year ago.  I had a laser procedure at the time and things have been fine since. After my recovery period, the opthalmologist told me that I could resume normal activity (within reason) and not to take aspirin anymore because it could make me more prone to bleeding and tearing in my retina.  For the last several months, I have had to be on prednisone--beginning at 30 mg and now only 10 mg but will be on a low dose for some time.  I am seeing a slight increase in floaters and since I know prednisone can also cause problems with bleeding, I am worried that maybe I shouldn't be going to the gym and lifting weights.  Would I be at increased risk for another retinal tear if I am seeing a couple of new floaters and continue my gym routine (lightweights and cardio)

New floaters warrant a new dilated exam by the retina specialist.  Prednisone does not cause bleeding in the eye but can raise eye pressure if used for prolonged periods.
