Get in on one of the cross-linking trials. It is only a matter of time before it is approved in the USA. Alternatively travel to Europe where it is already approved.

If in the Charlotte, NC area there are many doctors to choose from, visit www.aao.org to find one. I highly recommend you look into the Horizon Eye group as their doctors are excellent!! They have a website if you're interested: www.horizoneye.com, there are short bios of the doctors and which office they practice in as Horizon is a large group practice with multiple offices.
Good luck.
