lazy eye

Merci d'avance.

At you are it is very unlikely that exercises, patching, strong glasses would improve the vision in your lazy eye.

I'm presently 28 year old, male.  At the aproximate age of 12, I had a faceplant accident which scratched my right eye, which let too much light in.  That made me close this eye because I was too sensible to light.  My eye stopped working as time went by.  My left eye is 20/20 but my right eye is very bad.  I was diagnosed with a lazy eye recently.  My eye doctor told me that if I did my exercises (close my good eye to make my lazy one work), with my prescribed glasses, my lazy eye would become better.  From what I read everywhere else, it seems impossible to cure a lazy eye.  Could somebody share their opinion?  Greatly aprreciated.
