meds and floaters

A few weeks ago I had the flu, with a bad cough,  My Dr. prescribed Tamaflu and at the same time changed my blood pressure med from Norvasc to  Chlonidine.  Since then I think I am noticing and increase in the number/or size of the floaters.  Could any of these things cause this??

As one who has suffered a retinal detachment and tears, I would go to the doctor sooner, to be safe and take away the worry.

I  already have an appt on April 10 for a check-up regarding another condition.  He will dilate my eye then--is that too long to wait?  I have not had any flashes or vision change other than the floaters.  Floaters are not a new thing for me--I have had them for many years.

My opinion is that it is more likely due to the coughing which will cause pressure changes and movement of the vitreous.  You should see an ophthalmologist to make sure that there is no vitreous detachment, vitreous hemorrhage, retinal tear or retinal detachment.
