Hi,

I have just been diagnosed with MGD. I was reading that using antidepressants can cause dry eyes- can this lead to MGD? I will be seeing an opthmaologist in August, but was there any other eye care that I can do in the meantime?

You need to use daily an eyelid cleaner that removes the oil and debris that bacteria grow in and that retards the growith of bacteria especial Staph. The best over the counter is:

Treat these with artificial tears and products for dry mouth like Biotene toothpase.
