my eyeball has folds on it, why?

folds on my eyeball (on the white of my eye) when i move my eyeball i can feel Wrinkles/fold.  It looks like the white part is inflated and folded in the corner of my eye (sort of like a deflated balloon), and it causes me to feel like I have something in it but there is nothing but what looks like extra skin on my eyeball. What could be causing this? i wear contacts to see, overnight, could that be it? do i have a diease? can i cure it????????? I remeber that this has happened before and in the morning it was good. why is it happening?

It's not possible to determine exactly what your problem is but the closest approximation would be swelling of the outer layer of the eye (conjunctiva) and the swelling is causes "chemosis"  You can Google Images chemosis of eye conjunctiva.  It can be due to inflammation, irritation and also to contacts that are not fitting properly. You should have an optometrist or ophthalmologist that fit your contacts. I suggest you leave them out and go in to see him/her for a diagnosis.

That tissue is normal. Its the conjunctiva. It gathers in folds at the inside of the eye and is called the plica semilunaris and the caruncle.

the.white part.of my eye folds  and the white part is turning yellow ... What should I do
You do need to have an ophthalmologist look at this but the most common cause of the white part turning yellow especially at the 3 and 9 o'clock position is a 'pinguecula" which is sun damage to the elastic fibers of the conjunctiva.
