After Cataract Surgery

I have been in complete mysery every since my cataract surgery in September, it feels like i have a wash rag in botheyes, my Dr has put in plugs in my lower lids last week , still no releif. I have  tried  several kinds of drops drops , including the night time grease, still no releif. Is it possible that the wrong size lense were used or damage has been done to my tear ducts? I am deperate

After reading your link, I found that by massaging the  gland that produces tears in the upper eye lid that I now have tears and the plugs in the lower lids keep the tears from draining down my nose and throat. I hope this will help  sombody else out there!!

The wrong power of IOL is not at all likely. Nor is damage to the tear ducts at all common in cataract/IOL surgery. This is a classic situation where a second opinion is in order. Either ask your surgeon to refer you to a trusted Eye MD or find one yourself.
