one pupil bigger than other

my 7 year old daughter woke up this morning and was complaining of double vision. she had her eyes checked and dilated. is it normal for one pupil to be bigger than the other after having them dilated?

Yes.  They should both be back to normal within 24 hours.  If not, call the doctor who performed the exam and let them know.
