other treatments

I went to my retina specialist and I have a cluster of blood vessels that veered off a vein which is causing my blurred/shadow spot to cause my double vision. the treatment I am going through is a shot of antibiotics in my eye once a month for a few months to see if it will shrink the cluster.

My question is....is there another form of antibiotics that could be taken orally or eye drops during the time between shots to help shrink it? I don't mind the shot but was wondering if there was an additional antibiotic I could take with it. Thanks.

ok, but my question still remains...is there another treatment (medicated eye drops/oral meds) that can be taken inbetween the monthly shots?

I believe there is a misunderstanding.  It is not an antibiotic that will be injected into the eye.  It is anti-VEGF.  It is either Avastin or Lucentis.
