possible eye infection please help

for the past 4-5 weeks ive had a problem with my left eye,

its constantly red,and my vision goes bliurry ,  i wake up with a medium amount of gunk stickin my eye lashes together,
everytime i blink my eye feels scratched, and i have a what seems to be a blister actually on my eye , its about a centermeter long and wide, and i believe my eye sticking together its caused by the blister leaking gunk ,

ive had this for song long , people were commenting on how long ive had it and how red my eye is ,

i went to the hospital in the end and it took 2 doctors who had a good look in my eye , to both say they didnt knw what it was so they took swabs of my eye to send off to the lab, i am currently waiting for the results of this,

just wondering if anybody can relate to this? or possibly know what this is?

conjuntivitus surely has to be rulled out as its been about 5 weeks ive had this problem for,

please anybody help ?

thanks for reading

This looks exactly like what I had when I got staph infections. I was told that I had blepharitis. I would wake up in the morning with pains, and blurred vision in my left eye and it refused to open. It was so painful and my eye lid was somewhat glued together. I was diagnosed with a corneal ulcer, and culture sample revealed staph infections. Unfortunately, my vision is damaged. Amazingly, it took 5 doctors to simply diagnose this thing. I kept paying for consultations and no one could tell me what was wrong. If I have a handy person doing work for me in my house, and the work is not done, I am not expected to pay anything; however, this is different for doctors.
Regardless of how incompetent they are. You’re still required to empty your wallet.

I wish I could see your eye in person so I could be more help.  A centimeter blister would actually be quite huge and almost as big as your entire cornea so I'm not sure from your description what you have going on.  I wonder if you may have a lesion or problem of the eyelid which is causing irritation of the conjuctiva or cornea.  Try to avoid any eye makeup or mascara, use a lot of artificial tears during the day and some lubricant ointment like Genteal Gel at bedtime.  See an Ophthalmologist since I don't believe a general medical doctor is going to be able to properly diagnose and treat this case.  Good Luck and find a good eye doctor.
