Dr Gulani in FL uses amni. graft....(i live in So. Cal) & Dr Hovanessian (Harvard Eye..Laguna) said he would only use my own tissue. I am confused...what gives the better result? (Dr Gulani has some amzing results on his website...white whites)
Glue is great in the right hands. Sutures are great as well in the right hands. Whichever gives the best result for each particular surgeon is the way to go. My personal opinion is that glue may be a bit easier for the surgeon and the patient but it has its own problems, of course. If your surgeon is very experienced with glue and getting great results, that may be a good way to go. I would find the best cornea specialist in your area and ask his/her personal preference and go with that. Finally, why don't you post again Attention to Dr. Feldman (a corneal specialist) and see what she says. She answers questions on even number days.
