reading glasses to fight myopia dangers?

hello

I’m in my 30’s and have myopia -0.75 on one eye and -1.0 on the other.
I’ve read about a technique to fight myopia in which one uses plus lens
glasses for all close work.
I’m willing to give it a try for a few months as long as it won’t cause me
any eye damage.
with these glasses one should see a slightly blurred image (foggy image).
the thing is I’ve read that blurred images/text can cause deprivation myopia.

Will this be a concern?

also I’m scared that plus glasses might hurt my near vision (Presbyopia?),
thus
causing me problems focusing on close objects in addition to the problems I
have now - focusing on far objects

so what do you think? can I damage my eyes with this method?

I don't have glasses, never had them.

the question is: can this method cause any type of eye damage because of the points I mentioned?

Probably will not work for this small amount of myopia.  You will accomplish the same thing by not using your glasses for near work like reading or computer use.
