red eyes after sex

My boyfriend's eyes get red after we have intercourse.  He says that he has trouble seeing correctly for a minute or two and then his eyes stay red and sensitive for several hours afterward.  What could be causing this?

My eyes get blood shot red after me and my boyfriend had sex, he takes to long for him to  ejaculate , so we were going for 50 some minute straight and after my eyes were in pain I grab my phone and check my eyes on the camera, and I literally looked like I was high no joke. My eyes are still in pain and we had sex 11:15-12:40 am something and now it’s 11:45 pm

1. Remove his contacts before sex (if he wears them). 2. snuff out the candles and incense burners if you use them. 3. Make sure he's not getting body fluids in his eyes during sex. 4. be sure he's had a eye exam in the alst 6 months by an Eye MD.
5. If he uses any drug that illegal (nytril poppers), weed, ecstacy, etc stop 6. if he used Viagra or medication like that stop.   7. Try artifical tears before and after sex.

If none of this works and the eye exam is normal then its the price of doing business.
