schisis detachment

I started seeing bright lights at the top of my right eye. MD said I had a rare schsis detachment which he lasered it. He said this should fix and he would keep a watch on it. Have you ever saw this before. And my eye is blurry after surgery, he says will clear up?

While it will need livelong regular observation usually laser "holds" and a RD or extension into the macula doesn't occur.

Yes I have seen superior schesis that needed lasering.

Can't tell about your vision. Ask your surgeon.

If you're flummoxed then get a second opinion from a retina Eye MD.
