Four years ago I had the same surgery, it was on my right eye, it was overcorrected and it's been constant double vision fron day one....To make a really long depressing story short, get an eyepatch, cover a lens with black tape or nail polish, and drive carefully... I almost have accidents every single day back and for th to work, etc.... In my case the oncoming vehicles appear in front of me ( without the patch of course ), My doctors can't be bothered, my family basically say get over it, too much drama, friends start to abandon you b/c in their mind you're not a normal person... So take it slow, you say you can function for the most part, God bless you... It is a long hard and lonely struggle... If you ever need to vent on this issue drop me an email ***@****, I myself have thought about suicide b/c it's double vision is unbearable, but I'm trying to be strong for the kids...
