seeing tiny, glitter-like sparkles

Dear doctor:

I'm in my room and suddenly I was standing and I see a lot of white, shiny, tiny, glitter-like  dust sparkles, every where I look.  They disappear rather quick.

This happened to me a month ago but the first time the color was orange (sun color), and now it's white.

I checked my eyes out over a month ago already and no retina tear,  what could this possibly be? Could it be my brain problem? I'm not looking for a diagnosis but who should I seek help since I already seen an opthalmologist.  My next appt. is May 5,

Thanks doctor.

I think this is normal, that it will happen to anyone but they don't notice it.  First thing in the morning, go outside and let the sun hit your face with your eyes closed.  You will see sparkles for about 30 seconds.  As a side benefit you will feel very awake, like a cup of coffee or an extra hour of sleep.  I recommend this daily.
I'm not an eye doctor but I once read that the cells in your retina regenerate daily.  It makes sense we would respond to sunlight by feeling more awake too.

Not a good idea to look at the sun, even with eyes closed. And retina cells donot regenerate. This from a Eye Report "The retina is the light-sensitive layer of tissue that lines the inside of the eye and sends visual messages through the optic nerve to the brain. Eye injuries and certain eye diseases that damage retinal tissue can lead to blindness. In the mammalian eye, injured retinal cells can't regenerate"

I know this won't be accepted by many here... but the golden sparkles, bright pin points that appear, travel a few inches and disappear in 1-2 seconds all around you... This is a spiritual matter. Look up ascension, God's gifts and what the sparkles mean for those who experience this everyday. I just experienced it for the first time today, but I've been researching consciousness theory, metaphysics and esoteric studies for over four decades. This is not an eye problem, nor a brain "problem". It's your higher self senses in 5D (look that up too) peeking into your 3D self...or more accurately YOU are rising to a higher vibration and accessing your higher selfs perspective of the world. I'm a completely healthy man, physically and psychologically. But these golden quantum bits are not eye floaties as they remain in place and don't track with your eyeball, and they're EVERYWHERE. I had a friend who told me she has seen this for years, more and more and now everyday... Perfectly healthy, smart and grounded director of a large psychotherapy support practice. I never quite understood or believed her completely until this morning.
The point... KEEP doing it, practice and find what brings it on, when and the factors that make it easier to happen. It's a beginning to more.

I had the same thing for the first time today.  What a surprise, I was outside. Sun was nit especially bright.  My whole field of vision filled with thousands of tiny shimmery  sparkles.
Not floaters, not flashes. Lasted 5-10 seconds. As I walked on, they gradually cleared up.

Okay if nothing changes that plan would work, if it escalates into more eye symptoms then see the neuroophthalmologist

Thank you so much doctor Hagan:

I will keep my appt. with my opthalmologist.  I consulted my Primary Care PHysician on the phone and he said it's just probably low blood pressure and I didn't eat breakfast or drink enough water.   Yes, my blood pressure has always been on the low side 94/60 and I skip breakfast most of the mornings.

He said it has nothing to do with the brain so he suggested I just continue follow-up with my regular opthalmologist, I don't need to go see a neuro-opthalmologist.

Keep your appointment with the ophhthalmologist and discuss with him/her UNLESS something drastic happens sooner.
