small swollen red lump on upper eyelid

Hey, 4 days ago I woke to find I had a completely swollen upper eyelid. After getting the swelling down with warm compresses,i am left with a small, virtually painless lump on the upper eyelid. It is not actually on my eyeline so I thought that it could not be a stye, however it is closest to my eyelash area then any other part of the eyelid. Browsing the internet ive seen it could be a chalazion however I have never had a stye before, nor before the swelling a few days ago there was no indication of anything wrong, what does anyone think it could be?Or is it a chalazion?Any help appreciated as im unable to get to any doctors currently to see what it is..Thanks

Tim, tell your parents you need to see an ophthalmologist (Eye MD) and have them call one tomorrow.

This isn't teleconferencing and I can't make a diagnosis without looking at the lesion. Just on your discription and the history it's more likely a chalazion.  You should make an appointment with an ophthalmologist to confirm the diagnosis and set up a treatment plan to get rid of the present bump and equally important to prevent others from developing.
