swelling under right eye

my bro has got a swelling under his right eye for more than a week now. it is maximum in the morning and seems to subside during the day but does not go off completely. the bump is soft and warm to touch but the eye itself is fine without any redness, itchiness. he hasnt had any fever no other symptoms whatsoever. he has been to a physician who suggested blood sugar and urine test which came out fine. today he's been to an eye specialist got dozens of eye tests done all normal. please advise...coz we are still waiting for the right diagnose.

well, dosent chalazion mean a lump in the eyelid. if it does, his eye is not affected at all its a soft lump below the eyelid just below the eyes.

Hopefully the "eye specialist" was an MD eye physician ophthalmologist. If not and he saw a non-MD optometrist he should see a MD. Find one at www.aao.org

If he did see an Eye MD then you will need to continue to work with the MDs to determine an diagnosis. If the exam ruled out something common like a chalazion then we can't be of much help.
