That's a good sign. Yes, it can be rectified. 3 main reasons multifocal implants don't work well at times. 1. Dry eye or eye surface problem-treatable. 2.Posterior Capsular Opacity-treatable 3. Residual Ammetropia ("needing glasses")...it sounds like you have number 3. This can be treated temporarily with glasses or contacts and permanently with either IOL exchange or with LASIK/PRK procedure. Unless there's a lot of ammetropia, I would recommend "touchup" PRK.
