wavy lines, extreme myopia, negative OCT

Hello,
I am a 31-year old male with extreme myopia (spherical RGP corrected, OD -12.5, OS -11.75; astigmatism -2.00 with glasses; visual acuity OD 20/15, OS 20/20). About 2 months ago, I noticed that straight lines appeared somewhat wavy (OD>OS), and confirmed the observation on the Amsler grid. 2 weeks ago, I had an OCT scan (I don't know if it was an SD one), and my retina seems to be in perfect shape (for a highly myopic patient). What is your opinion on the distortions, and should I get a second opinion?
Thanks for the info!

You could have an abnormal cornea, even a form of keratoconus. Have a corneal topography done, visual field and monitor the distortion with daily amsler grid.

There is an interesting website about OCT:

(although it seems to be kind of a marketing website)
