whats the difference between prednisolone acetate usp and fluorometholone usp-

switched from prednisolone to flourometholone  becasue pressures were too high with the prednisolone- no red irratated eyes  so working just curious

Both are steroids. FML was designed to be less likely to elevate intraocular pressure (IOP). If steroids make IOP go up the person is called a "steroid responder".

Thanks the IOP has been  17-19  since switching to FML and were 29-30  with the Pred.  have to recheck  Doc didnt think would be that great a difference but looking good so far .
