Dear sol1010,

I would recommend that you aspek with a social work at the hospital to assist you in helping find a government program to assist.  IT is important for you to obtain a prosthesis so his orbit develops.

He should be covered by medicaid in your state.  Talk with the social worker at the hospital.  If you are in financial need, it is very possible that he will qualify for medicaid.  If you are working and have a home and other assets. and just choose not to have insurance, then it gets much more complicated.  Talk with the social worker.
