If you do indeed have a pterygium, it can be safely removed, but is essential to see an eye surgeon (ophthalmologist) who is well trained and very experienced in this type of surgery. Expertise makes all the difference.

the veines in my eyes are obvious now because when im done watching tv or movie its kinda red and i think i have this pyterigium on my left eye..im form the phillipines..is there anyway i can remove this pyterigium and the big veines..im working as a model here and i have noticed that some of my pictures are not good because my eyes is kinda red..allergic to bright lights also..is it safe to have a surgery..is there any chance that i will be blind? im afraid..
