1 blocked tube, 1 high FSH level, any hope for me?

I am 37 years old and I always knew there was something wrong with me and now it is confirmed. Back in November 2006 I went in for what turned out to be the most painful experience I have ever felt, the HSG test and I found out that both tubes had blockage. At that time I needed to have surgery to remove a painful cyst from my right ovary so my Doc said he would see if there was anything he could do while he was in there. Well the right side was unrepairable so he moved on to the left. This side he attempted to fix. Ok so I was a little nervous about the pain of the second HSG the RN said she would try to stop the dye if we got a flow thru the left being that we knew the right was blocked and that is what caused the pain. Well something went wrong and we had to it a third time. Good news is that we had flow thru the left side. Now the doc said that the tube may not perfect because of the surgery but at least we had flow.

Next we moved on to Clomid and IUI. In the past all my day 3 and day 10 blood test for FSH and everything else came back fine. On my first cycle of clomid I had a high FSH on day 10(16.5). The paperwork given to me to read said that one bad level was bad news. I now am less likly to conceive and more likely to MC. Great, what next, is God trying to tell me something? Bad eggs blocked tubes what next? Anyways, the RN said she will just keep testing my blood and see if it continues to rise. First IUI didn't work so started number 2. Bloodwork this time was fine. The nurse said that although one bad test means there is a problem, continuing bad levels or rising levels is worse. OK, some hope. This roller coaster ride is crazy. Ok number 2 I was really hopeful. Two nice Follicles on the left side, good bloodwork and DH has 28 million swimmers. Well it did not work and I am wondering if that tube is even able to grab eggs.

Now we have moved on to the injectables for my third and final try and yesturday she tells me that I have a big follie on the right (blocked) side. So she had me do the trigger shot to make it release, have intercourse for the next three days and start over in two weeks unless there is a miracle this month. I am sorry this so long and believe it or not I left so much that I have been going thru out. I just needed to write this for my own need to vent. I always get so much hope reading what people reply on these sites that I guess I am hoping for some hopeful words of wisdom or encouragement to make it thru this final try. We cannot afford IVF and if it doesn't work this last time we decided it's just not meant for us to be parents. Should I have any hope at all?

Hi marceij, I read your response to Hope2007's post but noticed you put your own post, so thought I'd say hi.Your situation sounds a little similar to mine. I am 34 and was ttc for 18months, got help from around the 12 month mark. My bloodwork indicates that I don't ovulate on my own ( and my FSH was 11, not that she told me that til my 2nd last appt with her !! ), so I started Clomid for 4 mths, was ovulating, and still no luck.
Then had the laparoscopy and hsg, and was shocked to find both tubes were blocked and my cervix closed over and she had to dilate it 5mm. One mth after no luck, second pretty much gave up ( only bed twice ) as my IVF was scheduled this week. I am a lot less stressed due to work, and bam...to my utter shock, I got preg this month!!..only 4 wks 5 days still, but......
You have had some follow up blood tests that were fine, you have one good tube, your cervix must be fine, and dh semen analysis? If all these are ok, do not give up hope!!...If this IUI does not work, still don't give up....you just never know..
Keep us updated on your progress...Sarah
