2-DPT...Are Symptoms A Must???

I'm 44.  Just completed my 2nd IVF cycle...1st was in 2010.  6 eggs 2 embies. BFN. 2nd Oct of this year. Did 450 of Follistim with HCG 20.  We got  4 eggs and 3 transferred back.

Had a 3 2-day embies put back.  Currently 6dpt.  Are symptoms a must?  I had some backache up until yesterday but other than that only tightness in belly since transfer.  I'm not sure if that's because of constipation or what.

I noticed my cervix feels less tight than up to 3-4pt.  No spotting/bleeding only felt little twinges of cramping between belly button and a little of to right side on day 4/5. A little dehydrated...probably need to drink more water.

Trying to stay positive/optimistic as this is the last shot we have for IVF now...no more benefits for meds.  Never anticipated this 2ww would be so challenging.  I'm still continuing my meds and progesterone until my blood test in 8 days.

Any advice...

What prescription did they give u? I've had twinges on my left & right side with tingles down my left leg. I have a little breast tenderness as well. I have been relaxing all day.  I had waves of nausea during the week, but it went away.

My transfer was on Sun 10/27 and I go for my blood test on Mon 11/11.  I agree...it does seem forever.  Had waves of nausea and dizziness today.  Dr told me not to go to ER and called in a prescription for me.

Nope, symptoms are not needed!!  I actually had 0 symptoms from transfer date until I was 10 weeks or so.  I am including a timeline for a 3 day transfer, so just move everything back a day. :)

Good luck and tons of baby dust coming your way!!!!!!

**this is what happens in a 3dt :

1dpt ..embryo is growing and developing
2dpt... Embryo is now a blastocyst
3dpt....Blastocyst hatches out of shell on this day
4dpt.. Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining
5dpt.. Implantation begins,as the blastocyst begins to bury in the lining
6dpt.. Implantation process continues and morula buries deeper in the lining
7dpt.. Morula is completely inmplanted in the lining and has placenta cells &
fetal cells
8dpt...Placenta cells begin to secret HCG in the blood
9dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
10dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
11dpt...HCG levels are now high enough to be immediately detected on
HPT
