How can they improve the quality? All my tests are fine, but my husbands has a problem of low motility and morphology. I responded well to all the med's and injections and the docs smiled satisfactorily each time they checked my follicle and endometrium growth.......he even told us that he will preserve some of the eggs cause he expected to get quite a few........but after retrieval he got only 7 good ones out of which 5 fertilized and 3 were worth putting in........is there chance of pregnancy with my husbands bad quality sperm?
Yes, I got a BFP. On day 3 they expect embryos to be around 8-cell so they told us that with 5 and 6 cell our chances were slim. BFP was a BIG surprise.
You should talk to your RE about improving the quality of your embryos.
I am sorry it did not work for you. I know how frustrating that must be.
Thanx Helen. Yes i did have 3 A grade 3 celled embryos........but unfortunately none of them implanted thats when i started wondering if there was a problem with the embryos.
What about you did u get a positive result?
I had 2 5-cell embryos transferred and a 6-cell and one of them worked for me. So, if the cell splits into 2, you have a 2-cell embryo. Then suppose one of the two splits. In this case you will have a 3 cell. Perhaps the other cell of the original 2 is taking its time.
So, do you have a 3 cell embryo on day 3?
