luteal phase is constant, 14d....it may vary [1d give or take]from time to time depending on diff factors such as stress, medication, activities etc.... you usually subtract 14 days from your cycle...so let's say your cycle is 30d -14d = 16... so you probably would ovulate on cd 15-17....
i hope this helps... goodluck to you...
Luteal phase is usually the same within a few days for each person. For example, mine is usually 12-14 days. But from person to person it can range from inadequate, which would be less than 10 days, to longer than the 14 day average. Plenty of people have a 16 or 18 day luteal phase. I presume you are using opk's?? If not, try them for a few cycles to pinpoint ovulation better. It's possible that the increase in estrogen just before ovulation is causing a temp shift in you but it is not actually ovulation.
I have the past two cycles and they give me a positive around the same time as the thermal shift so I am completely confused.....
I'm wanting to purchase an OPK - does anyone have any suggestions about where I can get one decently priced - or would it be best to buy it online?
K-Mart sells them...a box for 9 dollars I believe...it's the k-mart brand and I am not sure how many come per box...
thanks for the suggestions - i'll check them both out!
