Hi!! I totally understand how you feel!! They retrieved 20 eggs, 16 mature enough, 13 fertilized and 5 made it to blasts....one transferred in my 2ww...and 4 in the freezer. You only need on good one!! And most women only have about 30% of their eggs make it to blasts!! Good Luck!!
9 follicles, 8 retrieved, 6 fertilized (using ICSI), 5 made it to day 5 blastocyst, but only three were high enough grade to use. 1 implanted, 2 in the freezer...........11 weeks, 5 days pregnant!
going too high on your follicle numbers places you at risk of ovarian hyperstimulation... which can cause massive pain and could result in the entire cycle being stopped. in some cases permanent damage.
The number of stimulated follicles you have is a great number, high enough for a good chance of getting an embryo, yet low enough that you ovaries will live to fight another day. Sounds like they have your follicle stimulation meds right.
Best of luck!
Best of luck!
Each experience is unique and you don't need a high number of eggs to have success. I only had 10 retrieved, implanted 2 and still had 5 to freeze. And remember... it only takes ONE! Good luck to you.
We have to hang on to hope...what else can we do? We can't make more come. Remember it only takes one egg for a baby......
Also, they give you a antrl follicile count which was probably your 8....when you start on the meds & they measure your folliciles daily maybe more will pop up. It has happened so stay strong. Best Wishes to you!!
