Sam, isnt salmon one of the fish that pregos shouldnt eat? if not, ill try it.......i use to be a fish girl, we would go fishing all the time since i was in kindergarten i remember and my parents use to go deep sea fishing up until their divorce last year.....after a while though i was getting burned out on it, they smoked everything, and it was good, but a bit much.....once and me dh moved in together, he doesnt eat seafood which was great for me, i didnt have to but lately its been sounding really good!! which could be pregoness =/

Helen72- I definately can't do the laproscopy surgery, but I thought my Dr. would of know that I ended up in the hospital after the retrival. It's kindof strange to me that she still had me on the schedule. I'm just not sure if the other Dr. there the did the retrieval told her.

Laparotomy and laparoscopy look at different parts. However, it does seem like you have 2 surgeries too close together. You should definitely explain to your RE what happened and see what he/she says. Also, try to get an answer why internal bleeding happened! We all had retrievals here but noone went through what you went through.

Let me know if this is strange to you guys as it is to me. Most of you know I had the laprotomy done last month on the day of my retrieval due to internal bleeding. Well yesterday I got a call from my clinic saying that I have laproscopy surgery on Monday with my doctor. Now I had canceled this for July in May because my cycle started late and I was going to do the transfer in July, which of course did not happen. Now, I am wondering if my doctor that I normally see knows what happen to me. It's kinda weird that I would still be on the schedule for surgery. What do you ladies think? Do the doctors know a least a week in advance who they do surgery on? I was wondering why she didn't call me this whole time. I have an appointment with her next week so I guess I will find out either way.

Sally - sorry you are still sick! Boil 2c. water, add 1t. lemon juice and 2T. brandy and 1t. honey - girl it works wonders for the sinuses!

I wanted to kill Devil Dog (see photo) the other night. She chewed up one of my favorite blankets on the sofa. It was so soft and snuggly and warm! I went down to the computer to let y'all know I had a bad headache. I was there for what 5 minutes? She had managed to rip it in half and it was shredded! So, the shock collar went back on... and Oh I am having so much fun! Get off the couch - zap, get your nose of the counter - zap, get out of the boat - zap, get out of my rasberry bed - zap, stop chasing the cat - zap. Now, all I have to do is pick up any remote and point it at her and she stops whatever she is doing immediately and lays down.

Im still sick, it stinks.. My fever comes and goes. My hair is a rats nest, but AF is slowly on her way out, thank goodness. DH is of course feeling much better (phooey), while I am feeling like a poopsicle.

Thanks to all of you for your words of encouragement. It is just so dang hard sometimes to "buck up" and remain positive. I am not a negative sort, but I am realistic. The reality is that my odds aren't good, but hey, miracles happen and I'm a pretty good person, so why can't the next miracle be mine? I am still waiting for AF, which is a good thing, as they won't start the cycle without an updated pap. Had the pap done on Wed, and typically the results take at least 2 weeks, but my doc put a rush on the lab. Suppose to get the results this afternoon, so assuming that is the case, I will fax them over to the fert. clinic and wait for AF. So, I guess I am going through with another cycle with my dopey eggs (or what's left of them). Will keep you posted!

well ladies, tonight was it.....i am 10 weeks today and it was bound to happen eventually! there is no way i am that lucky.....i threw up dinner! =P all i ate was corn because what dh made did NOT look appealing (steak sandwiches) so i had grilled corn on the cob followed by, yep you guessed it, pumpkin pie! i was taking my prenatal and with the last drink of water i had THAT feeling.....and of course, salt in the would, that last heeve, here came the vitamin.....just had to share that with the ones i love!!
