BFP!!!!! How to tell DH??

I can't believe it!!!  It doesn't feel real.  I promised myself I wasn't going to test until Friday, when AF is due, but I was feeling awful, and when I ran last night, I could only do 4 miles (usually do at least 6).  I thought I was going to yack, then I thought I was going to fall asleep...yes, that's right, fall asleep running.  I shut my eyes to wipe sweat away, starting day dreaming, and realized I was falling to the back of the treadmill (not actually falling, just running back further on it).  That's when I thought, "Ya know, if this is from being pg, it's for sure going to show up on a test. "  So, 11 DPO, and faint, but definitely, a positive.  I took a pic of the test and sending it to my parents with a note saying, "Ready to be grandparents again?"  THis is my first, but my sister has two.  My DH doesn't know yet though, so how should I tell him?  My friend said to develop the pictures on the entire disk, and let him look at them and find the one of the test on his own.  He's out of town and gets back tomorrow.  Any tips?

He's still speechless:)  It totally caught him off guard.  Just as I predicted, he shook the present, and then when he opened it, he thought the card was a picture in a frame at first?  Don't ask where he got that!  But then he saw the test and goes,"WAIT...WHAT????"  He looked and me and repeated, "WHAT?"  And I said, "I'm pg, honey!"  and he kept saying what and smiling and then gave me a big hug, looked at the test again, and said, "I mean, it's obviously a line, but for sure?"  I pulled out the second and darker test from that day and he is pumped.  And still shocked. Thanks for helping the suprise!  He loved the way I did it:)

Thanks again!  I had a feeling it was implantation too:)  I mixed some of the advice together and came up with this... I put yesterdays newspaper in a box and taped the test to the top so when he opens it he'll see the test with a "congratulations or your expecting child" card next to it in the box.  I told him last night I was finally able to get this present that I wanted to get for him for x mas...but added...don't get too excited, it's nothing big.  I put the paper in it so when he picks it up and shakes it (like he does with every present...he's such a little kid sometimes...lol) he won't have a clue.  Please keep praying for me that everything "sticks."  I feel that God is watching over me and feel confident for everything to go well, but also, like with the implantation bleeding, don't want to get my hopes up.  Thanks everyone!!!!!!

Hi Hawki, if you want your husband to feel really special and included then I found that pretending I had not done a test and didn't know I was PG worked for me. I had done 15 tests over 3 days so was pretty sure, and when my DH came in from work I told him I felt a little weird and had missed AF, and we went out together and  got a test. he came to the bathroom with me and the look on his face when that little blue line popped up was only matched by the look he had when our son was born 9 months later (PS he doesn't know that I know, but he kept the test stick all these years later!!)

Congrats!!! You can use an old bracelet box and attach the due date to the top half(inside) and the pregnancy test to the portion that's suppose to hold the bracelet. Wrap it and give it to hime like that. Good Luck with whatever you do

CONGRATS!!!! I'm so thrilled for you! I have seen you on here for quite a while - so I know your road has been a long one. 8 months is a long time! I don't have any great ideas for telling your hubby - but I'm sure you'll do something creative - yes, let us know how you tell him! I'll have to take notes for when I finally get that BFP. Congratulations!!!!! :)

Congratulations!!! It is so thrilling to get a BFP!!  I bought my husband a baby bib that read "I Love Daddy" and wrapped it as a gift.  The initial look of confusion that lead to the lightbulb moment was priceless!!!  Happy and healthy 9 months to you and baby!!!

Thank you so much! Yes, it hasn't been as long as others...8 months, but this was the first time in 8 months that I O.  It was my first round on clomid.  What a blessing to have it be the first time!  I prayed that it would happen, not only to get the BFP, but also, I would have had to have an HSG done, and insurance doesn't cover that lovely $800 procedure.  I just keep thanking God:)  Now let's pray it sticks!

With my second pregnancy i too wanted to do something out of the ordinary so i got this really huge box, put something heavy in it and to the top of the heavy object I attached the positive pregnancy test then wrapped the box. When he got home he was excited to get an unexpected gift since it wasn't his birthday or any special occasion. But when he opened the box he was especially excited. I feel so happy just sharing this with you casue i remember the excitement of telling others!

Good luck and cherrish every moment of the pregnancy!
