Back from appt

Now I am officially a wreck, lol. Had the draw done and they will call around noon with the beta #. I go Monday for a repeat. Then, in 2 wks I go for 1st u/s. Then 2 wks later 2nd u/s and they will start weaning off of meds and release me to my ob. I am pacing the floor already. Been up since 2:30 again. I'll be happy when I can rest a little and enjoy this.

Tina!

YAY!  I'm thinking YAY!  If you count backwards by halving every 48 to 72, isn't that really solid?  If not, my math su.cks!

I'm still going with YAY!

I had to come on here and cyberstalk this post....and I am happy with that 40.  You are not going to be able to relax for the next 39 weeks (and then the next 75 or so years), so get used to this stress!

BTW:  You're pregnant = goosebumps!!!

Hi Tina - firstly so sorry you have these days of waiting ahead of you. However 40 isnt a bad number and all we need is for those numbers to double. There have been a few girls who have started off with low numbers and I hope you take comfort in that, and the next post from you is a sky rocketing beta number!!!

I know you would have liked to see higher, but 40 isn't that bad!!   It's better than 6 or 9 or 11 like I use to see.  You're not off the charts eigther for 14 DPO.   I think 40s about normal!

We are all hanging in there with you until MOnday!!

Tina - I got a faint BFP at 3.99 HCG when I was preggo on a FRER so, no worries. Just wait and see what happens. I just know those buns are cooking away - hugs to you and munchkin (s)!!!

Thanks yet again ladies. I know. I should listen to my own advise. It is great advise and it is accurate. I do feel a lot better about 40. It is only 9dpt. I am relaxing a little and my heartburn came back. I never thought I'd be glad to get heartburn! I'll still be 1st in line at that lab in the am ;D

Ok I'm still drugged from my D&C but I had to comment :-) ha ha... My OB always says "It really doesn't matter what the starting # is" but if it increases at least 66% in 48 hours.  Watch, this is what's going to happen...you're #'s are going to triple and you'll end up finding out you have the "twins" in there :-)  How exciting!!!  I hate how early 1st trimester testing makes us all crazy....Remember that your little bean(s) are wanting mom to cheer them on and know that they are going to be ok :-)

Remember, this is a different lab too. The results may not be as high because it's at a different place and they can be off a bit. Ugh, one more thing to think about :0)

I remember a very wise lady once told me that my numbers were good at 88 for 17 dpo ;) So If that same wise lady was talking to herself *WINK* She would say the same thing. If you are 14dpo @ 40 then by the time 17dpo rolls around you will  probly pass my numbers!!! And all has turned out well for me, Addy is still growing & waiting for her big Debut! ((HUGS))

Thanks again ladies. I swear, without you, I really don't know how I'd get thru this!  I have been reading FET Hcg levels for the past hr or so. It seem like most all are at 12 or 14dpt. I am 9dpt and mine is better than a lot of 12dpfets I have seen. From the medical journals I read, 89 is about average for 12dpfet. If my # is going up and not down, I should make that standing on my head. Tomorrow will help. I wish it were here already. But, I really do feel a lot better. My hands have quit shaking anyway :)

Hey Tina, Try not to worry.. at 17 dpIUI mine was only 93.  The thing about FRER they are so sensitive, they will give BFP way early.  You hcg could have been as low as 6 so if it doubled every 48 hrs that would only be 24 and yours is almost twice that!!

Congrats girl. This is wonderful news.  I have also seen a lot of IVF with really really low hcg that turn out to be viable pg.  So either way, I think you are good!!

Congrats hon.. you have arrived!!

Please don't worry- take care of yourself and relax.  I would have done the same thing with getting another beta in the morning.  3 days seems like an eternity!!  But, this will give you the peace of mind you need for the weekend and to relax.  SSBD!!

Post in the morning once you get the results...hang in there:-)

Tina,
I agree with the others 40 is a good number.
are you going tomorrow morning to get the second quantitative?
I agree with you that you can't stay the whole weekend without knowing and I'm sure it will give you a little peace of mind.
remember beta is not a perfect science.My second beta did not double and I was so  worried and here I am at 21 weeks.
Keep the faith.

I know. I am just barely out of range. 48 is average according to all the charts. Less than 20 is considered low. I am still going to poas tonight and w/fmu and do the beta in the am, lol. Monday is too far for me. My nerves are already shot. I can't work or think of anything else. At least I feel a little queasy. Most likely is nerves though :)

I have read on other sites that with a frozen transfer betas start low and you are still a little early, so it will all work out! I know how hard it is not to worry, but we are all praying for you! Best of Luck and stick baby stick!

Hi Heather-9dp 5day transfer = 14dpo. I know 40 isn't the end of the world. It IS early. Just with getting a bfp on Monday, I really expected a higher #.

I know I can't make it til Monday. I went online and ordered a quantative beta and paid for it myself. I am getting it done at 8am. I think I get the result back noonish. I just need to know if it is going up or down. I can't go through the whole weekend with this weighing on me. I am a very patient person. But, not with this, lol.

Oh, Tina...I wish you wouldn't have to worry about this all weekend, but I agree with the others, 40 is good number. Sending you some extra SSBD to help the little one(s) get nice and snug in there!

How many days past transfer are you again?

Here's the scenerio as I think it is playing out:

Mon = 10
Wed = 20
Fri = 40

Sounds like doubling numbers every 48 hours to me!  Remember, when you tested Monday you were testing very very early!

I didn't have any "symptoms" with Z.  I never got heartburn, never nauseous, no real food cravings... I wouldn't slam dunk a pregnancy on having, or not having, "symptoms"... Got to think positive!

No, they just gave the same answer I always give. "It's not the # that matters, it is what it does that matters."  Like I said, Monday is sooooo far away. Now I'll be poas all weekend. Looking, staring, analyzing. I have had heartburn for 4 days and I don't have it today :(  I just don't have a good feeling......
