Calling All Women of Strength...

A Strong Woman VS. A Woman Of Strength

A strong woman works out everyday to keep her body in shape…
But a woman of strength builds relationships to keep her soul in shape.

A strong woman isn't afraid of anything…
But a woman of strength shows courage in the midst of fear.

A strong woman won't let anyone get the better of her…
But a woman of strength gives the best of herself to everyone.

A strong woman makes mistakes and avoids the same in the future…
A woman of strength realizes life's mistakes can also be unexpected blessings and capitalizes on them.

A strong woman wears a look of confidence on her face…
But a woman of strength wears grace.

A strong woman has faith that she is strong enough for the journey…
But a woman of strength has faith that it is in the journey that she will become strong.

mrspace:  Sorry about AF ;(

kmcarino:  For you, I'm happy AF showed! :)  Now you can move forward.  Sounds like an exciting month for you & let's hope it's a lucky one for you & dh!

babynr:  So nice to hear from you & it's exciting to hear that you'll soon be transferring 3 little ones.  Best wishes to you & your dh! :)

dnikki:  Sorry about jury duty.  I know things are probably different in our states, but we have the one day/one trial procedure, so that if you don't get picked today, you'd be done for the year.  I'm sure you've already gone, but my suggestion would have been to mention in the jury room your situation & if they just tell you to discuss it with the judge when/if you get assigned, then ask the judge for a "side bar" and speak to him/her privately.  I can't imagine he/she wouldn't be understanding, just with my experience.  Good luck!!!

Candie & Keyan:  I'm holding out all hope for you two!!!  Fingers are tightly crossed ;-)

Lina:  Thanks for updating our list while I was gone! :)

Joyce:  I'm glad to hear everything's going well, especially between you & your baby's dad :)

Stacey:  No, I didn't chicken out!!!  I actually had to stand up at a microphone in front of everyone (which is totally crazy for me) and my question was:  when will I have my first child...  the answer was in 4 years & it will be a boy!!!  So, my first thought was that because I look young, that was a good guess for her.  We shall see & hopefully I prove her wrong!!!  We had a great time :-)

wishandaprayer:  I'll be thinking of you today!  Best of luck to you!!! :)

ad_06:  Sorry about the bfn, but as we always say, it's not over til...  Good luck to you & keep us posted! :)

leighanne:  I'm sorry your mom & fiance got laid off, but I'm glad you'll have so much support when Jaedyn arrives ;)  What a pain in the butt that nurse is.  I can't even imagine, but you're right.  It's about Jaedyn now.  Take care!!!

dnikki:  I was gonna mention that maybe you were O'ing right around the time of iui & that caused the pain 'cause like Stacey, I haven't had pain with my iui's either.  It makes sense that it was from O'ing & now you mention the cyst!  Ouch!  Hope you're doing better & the trial is over quickly!

kmcarino:  I'm so happy to hear your estrogen level is just where you want it!  I remember how stressful that was last cycle.  Wow, 30 follies!  That's great.  I hope your appt tomorrow goes just as well!!! :)

pyar:  That makes sense!  You have a backup plan ;)  When will you start your meds or have you already started?

Stacey:  You always crack me up! :-) How cool that your next u/s is next week & that you'll start letting people know!!!  I can imagine the excitement at your office ;)  Let us know how it goes!

BabyMamma:  How are you doing?  Will you test again soon?  SSBD!!!

So, I'm expecting my +opk tomorrow or Monday & will go in for iui the following day.  I'm off work til next Friday, so the timing is just perfect!  I feel so relaxed this cycle.  I can't explain it, but it feels great! :)  I think I was so focused on that Christmas BFP for so long, that when I got my negative beta on 12/21, I was crushed.  And now, I don't have that urgency.  I just feel like it'll happen when it's time :)  Have a wonderful weekend, ladies!!!

stacey- i am so lucky because i will have my fiance and mother with me for the first couple weeks.  with all the craziness in the economy right now, they are both alid off.  me and my fiance started our own little construction buisness so even though he collects unemployment right now, we are getting extra money and at any time he can put jobs on hold and be with me, so it is good because if i need the c-section i will need lots of help.  yeah right aroudn week 8 craziness started. i thought i would be lucky with no symptoms sinc ei lasted til 8 weeks and then it all hit me every night but it goes by quick and before you know it, you will be 20 weeks along with a baby bump.

i go back to the doctors on monday and hopefully i can get them to give me a c-section date and that my BP is normal so i do not need to be hooked up to tons of machines again in the hospital. it was kind of scary.

the bad part is the only doctor/midwife that could see my monday is the one who was so rude to me my first miscarriage when we found out there was no heartbeat during an ulttrasound.  she literally walked into the room and said, "well sorry  but there's no heart beat and you have 2 choices."  I had to tell her to slow down and explain the first part of her sentence.  so it is nerve wracking to see her but as i am telling myself, its not about me, its about jaedyn right now,

Leighanne - Very interesting that you say that.  Just this week I have been getting headaches and nausea at night.  It starts between 8 and 9 o'clock.  I have not vomited once yet (knock on wood!) but my evenings have become the time of day were I feel the worst. I am just soooo excited to finish the first trimester!  2 more weeks...yippee!  If they schedule a c-section for you it will probably be a week or so earlier than your due date right?  Little Jaedyn is going to be here before you know it!!  Is your dh or someone going to be with you for the first week or two?  You will probably need lots of help if you get a c-section.  Good luck with the bedrest!

well ladies- my first day of bed rest was awful.  so boring.

dnikki- i feel for you.  i do not miss the progesterone at all.  lovely med that makes you bloated and tired.  yuck.

kmcarino- thats great that your # is good.

stacey- you are getting close to entering your 2nd trimester.  any new symtpoms?  around 8 weeks i started having severe night sickness til about week 14.  then from week 14 til mid 20's it was great.  now i am so slow.  yeah only like 2 1/2 more weeks til my due date.  they think i will need a c-section so i might know the exact date of when he will be here soon.
